CCAMPIS Update – October 1, 2026

The U.S. Department of Education provided New America with a list of the 40 institutions selected to receive Child Care Access Means Parents in School (CCAMPIS) grants for the 2026–2030 cycle. Unfortunately, UW–Madison was not selected, and no institution in Wisconsin appears on the published grantee list, which you can view here.

While this is not the outcome we hoped for, UW–Madison’s commitment to supporting parenting students and their children remains strong. UW–Madison’s Child Care Tuition Assistance Program (CCTAP) remains active and available to eligible student families, supported by a dedicated OCCFR team and strong campus and community partnerships. We will continue working to support parenting students in accessing the child care and resources they need to remain in school, pursue their educational goals, and build strong futures for themselves and their families.
