UW Network Child Care Centers

The Office of Child Care and Family Resources contracts with nine licensed and accredited high-quality child care centers to provide UW–Madison families even more options when it comes to finding child care.

There is a high demand, especially for infant care, for these child care centers. Acceptance is not guaranteed (waitlists average be 6-12+ months).

Commitment to Excellence

At the UW–Madison Office of Child Care and Family Resources (OCCFR), expanding access to high-quality child care and increasing capacity remain among our highest priorities. In addition to our three campus child care centers, OCCFR contracts with nine licensed, accredited, high-quality community child care centers through a competitive Request for Proposal and contracting process.

These contracts create a mutually beneficial model for both the university and the broader community. UW–Madison families gain access to a wider range of exceptional child care and early education program options, while participating community programs receive meaningful support that helps strengthen their centers and long-term sustainability.
