Child Care Access Means Parents In School (CCAMPIS)
(formerly known as AIM)
The mission of CCAMPIS is to provide access and financial assistance to ensure high quality early childhood care and education for low income student parents at UW-Madison so they can persist and graduate from degree programs. CCAMPIS is a federally funded grant in which over 90% of those enrolled successfully complete their degree. Students must apply for FINANCIAL AID to be considered for this additional financial assistance (you don’t need to accept financial aid, but you must be eligible). PLEASE NOTE: Student parents receiving CCAMPIS funding have specific requirements including course loads and parent education to maintain their funding.
- Must be a student parent enrolled in a full-time degree program at UW-Madison.
- Must have a child(ren) enrolled at one of the campus child care centers.
- Must have applied and be eligible for Child Care Tuition Assistance Program (CCTAP).
- Must apply for Financial Aid through the Office of Financial Aid to determine your “Pell” Eligibility
Step 1: Make sure you have applied for CCTAP funding FIRST.
Step 2: Make sure you have previously applied for Financial Aid (you may or may not be eligible, but you just need to apply)
Step 3: Submit the 21-22 CCAMPIS Application (available soon!) after Step 1 and Step 2 are complete.
