This theme focuses on the critical early years of a child’s life, where parents, caregivers, and guardians play a key role in laying the groundwork for future success. Building Strong relationships helps nurture, grow, and support emotional stability, and education, emphasizing the connection between strong family support and a child’s development.

Registration for the 2025 Early Childhood Conference is open! This exciting in-person event will take place on April 11-12, offering an exceptional opportunity for professional development, networking, and collaboration with colleagues from across the region. Our mission is to provide affordable, high-quality professional development that directly supports the important work you do every day in early childhood education. In addition to the wealth of knowledge and skills you will gain, we are pleased to partner with the Wisconsin and Illinois Gateway Registries to offer registry credit for select sessions. ECHO Early Childhood: Including Learners with Disabilities

8 Virtual Sessions: Every other Wednesday beginning January 22
5:30 PM-6:30 PM

Are you an early childhood professional who serves children with disabilities in your classroom? Join us for this series of virtual education and problem-solving meetings where we will discuss topics on how to create opportunities for inclusive play, use behavior support plans, transition children between programs, and more.

Continuing education credit through the Wisconsin Registry and limited stipends will be available.

The Greater Dane County Early Childhood Care and Education Director’s Caucus

The Greater Dane County Early Childhood Care and Education Director’s Caucus (DC), organized and facilitated by Cigdem Unal, Director of the UW Office of Child Care and Family Resources, is a collaborative community of dedicated administrators and stakeholders. DC provides information sharing and a support platform for ECE directors & professionals. Our shared goal is to uplift the quality of care and education for every child in Dane County, Wisconsin. We invite those involved in child care administration or related fields in Madison and nearby areas to join our collective efforts. Free ECE Foundational Courses with Madison College

Madison College is offering several noncredit and foundational courses for free to recipients of the Wisconsin Innovation Grant (WIG). Scholarships are also available for students pursuing Early Childhood Education. Call 608.243.5400 for more information on how to apply.
