Parents have always sought the advice and help of relatives, friends and professionals in raising their children. Campus families may need to develop new support networks in our campus community and may have questions about child management. Or, maybe you are looking for current research and practices in the early education field. Our office provides a wide variety of programs to meet many needs.
Parent Education Events/Programs
The Office of Child Care and Family Resources plans parent education and parent resource sessions/events. These events change each semester so be sure to check back for a variety of topics!

Receive weekly e-mails with announcements on free parent education sessions, parenting strategies, community events and more.
Lactation Rooms on Campus
View the location of rooms on the UW-Madison campus that are lactation friendly.
Campus Women's Center
A student organization that has a Family Resources Coordinator who works with student parents around child care needs.
Individual Consultation
Parents may seek individual consultation with our office staff regarding developmental or behavioral concerns or resource and referral. Please call Jen at 265-9123 for an appointment or more information.
