Short Term Child Care Services

If your regular provider is unavaliable and you need child care or you have a unique child care need, Chicken Soup, LLC is a back-up/hourly and mildly ill child care center! Chicken Soup has the same owners as Little Chicks Learning Academy and is under contract with the University.

Mildly Ill Care

Chicken Soup provides a HEPA filtered mildly ill center located at 3553 University Avenue for children that are mildly ill, yet too ill to attend their regular child care. Chicken Soup welcomes your calls and questions about this service.

Hourly Care

Chicken Soup provides a separate classroom located in the Little Chicks Learning Academy (601 N. Whitney Way) for back-up/hourly care. "Back-up" care includes, but is not limited to: attending class, work or meetings, attending a conference at UW or covering your child care needs when your regular provider is unavailable.

Kids-Kare

Kids-Kare provides a reduced rate to income eligible UW-Madison students, faculty and staff when using back-up/hourly or mildly ill child care.
