The Office of Child Care and Family Resources (OCCFR) promotes the development and implementation of a coordinated early education/child care and family support system on campus. The University has affiliated centers that operate on or close to campus, which serve UW faculty, staff and students and help to fulfill the teaching, research and outreach mission of UW. Campus centers must fulfill UW-System G38 policy, including state licensor and accreditation by the City of Madison and/or by the National Association for the Education of the Young Child (NAEYC). Each center complies with hundreds of standards relating to safety and physical space, staff supervision and training, curriculum and program planning. You are encouraged to contact the campus centers to find the program that is best suited to you and your child's needs. Each campus program is unique in its size and scope of services. You may also contact the Parent Resource Specialist at 265-9123 with any questions. [Please click on the center's name to visit their Web site.]
