Access for Infants and Mothers (AIM)
The mission of AIM is to provide access and financial assistance to ensure high quality early childhood care and education for low income student parents at UW-Madison.
AIM is a federally funded grant in which 85-90% of those enrolled successfully complete their degree. Students must apply for FINANCIAL AID to be considered for this additional financial assistance (you don't need to be eligible for or accept financial aid, but you must apply).
PLEASE NOTE: We just received the good news that our AIM grant was renewed for 4 years, ending in Summer 2017.
- Must be a student parent (mother or father) enrolled in a full-time degree program at UW-Madison.
- Must have a child(ren) enrolled at one of the campus child care centers.
- Must have applied and be eligible for Child Care Tuition Assistance Program (CCTAP).
- Must receive or be eligible to receive a Pell Grant through Student Financial Aid.
Step 1: Make sure you have applied for CCTAP funding FIRST.
Step 2: Make sure you have previously applied for Financial Aid (you may or may not be eligible, but you just need to apply)
Step 3: Submit AIM APPLICATION after Step 1 and Step 2 are complete.
